Revitalization of the streetscape 29. August

The construction of a raised pedestrian crossing has created not only a safer but also a more attractive entrance to Medická Garden, taking into account the needs of all user groups, including children, seniors, and people with reduced mobility. Along the sidewalk next to Ondrejský Cemetery, high-quality granite paving was added, complementing the historic character of the site. Between the trees, a permeable surface made of split granite cubes was used, improving the infiltration of rainwater and protecting the root system of the greenery. The overall comfort for the public is further enhanced by a new modern public transport shelter, providing passengers with greater convenience and better protection against adverse weather conditions.
